The Asian American Pacific Islander Chamber of Commerce (AAPI Chamber, Las Vegas) hosted the festival, a large community event built to bring people together for Lunar New Year in Las Vegas.
The concept
STUDiiO reached out to the AAPI Chamber to shoot an event video for the festival, a highlight recap built to last. This one was designed for longevity. When Lunar New Year 2027 rolls around, they can push last year's recap and say: here is what it looked like, you should be here. So the whole cut is engineered to capture the energy of the room and make it feel big, you should have been here, because look at everything that happened.
The production
We covered the festival wide and close, the crowd, the performances, the vendors, the community moments, and cut it to fast paced music to sell the energy. The goal on the day was to grab both the scale of the room and the small details that make it feel alive, so the recap plays big no matter where it runs. We also shot photos alongside the video.
The post
We cut it as a high energy highlight reel and delivered it to the AAPI Chamber, built so they can reuse it year over year to promote the next festival. They accepted the collaboration and loved it.
