Accessibility Statement
We want everyone to be able to use this site, whatever device, browser, or assistive technology you rely on.
Micah David LLC, Las Vegas
We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 at Level AA
Micah David LLC is committed to making this website usable for as many people as possible, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, or screen magnifiers. Our target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.
Accessibility is ongoing, not a box we tick once. As the site grows we test new pages against that standard and fix what falls short.
What ships on every page
- 01
Semantic HTML and landmarks
Real headings, lists, and clear landmark regions for the header, navigation, main content, and footer, so a screen reader can move through the page by structure.
- 02
Full keyboard navigation
Every link, button, and control can be reached and operated with the keyboard alone, in a logical, predictable order.
- 03
Visible focus
A clear focus outline follows you as you tab, so you always know where you are on the page.
- 04
Meaningful alt text
Images that carry information include descriptive alternative text, and purely decorative ones are hidden from assistive technology.
- 05
Respects reduced motion
If your device asks for less motion, the site honors that setting and holds its animation and background movement still.
- 06
Contrast that meets AA
Text and interface colors are chosen to meet the WCAG AA contrast targets in both the standard and high contrast views.
The accessibility widget
Use the accessibility button in the corner of any page to turn on the reader preferences below. Your choices are remembered on this device, so you set them once.
Larger text. Steps the whole page up in size for easier reading.
High contrast. Switches to a stronger, higher contrast palette.
Underline links. Adds an underline to every link so they stand out from body text.
Readable spacing. Opens up line height and spacing and switches to a plain typeface.
Pause motion. Stops the site animations and background movement.
These controls are a convenience and a supplement. They do not replace the accessible markup the rest of the site already ships, and the site is built to work with or without them.
Tell us and we will help
If you hit a barrier anywhere on this site, we want to know. Email contact@heystudiio.com and tell us the page you were on and what got in your way. The more you can describe what you needed, the faster we can fix it and find you another way to get there in the meantime.
